Rising Zimbabwean artist KayC Pricosh expressed his gratitude yesterday for the incredible opportunity he was given by Ghanaian professional football superstar, Joseph Paintsil.
The
footballer extended a warm invitation to Pricosh, inviting him to his home and
providing an unforgettable tour of Ghana.
Born
Knowledge Chisinde in Harare, the talented 24-year-old caught Paintsil's
attention with his captivating cover of "People," which created waves
across the internet.
The Ghanaian footballer reached out to Pricosh
on Instagram, leading to a remarkable collaboration and the chance to visit
Ghana.

Accompanied by his brother, Pricosh embarked on a journey to Accra, Ghana, last week to experience the hospitality of Joseph Paintsil and his loved ones.
During his visit, he had the pleasure of
meeting Paintsil's mother, siblings, and friends, all of whom warmly embraced
their Zimbabwean guests.
"We had an amazing time; they welcomed us in their homes with open arms,"said Pricosh.

As an
expression of his dedication to giving back, Pricosh joined
Paintsil under the Joseph Paintsil Foundation which donated essential equipment
to a local hospital in Paintsil's hometown.
Additionally, Pricosh also attended a charity football game hosted by the footballer himself, highlighting Pantsil’s commitment to philanthropy.

"Joseph
Paintsil's humility is unparalleled. Despite being a superstar, he treated
everyone with the same genuine humility and respect," said Pricosh.
This
encounter left a lasting impression on Pricosh, strengthening his admiration
for the Ghanaian footballer.
Furthermore,
during his stay in Ghana, Pricosh had the extraordinary opportunity to meet
Ghana's top videographer and businessman, C Real, as well as acclaimed spoken
word artist Rhythm Sonny.
Notably, he engaged in discussions with Kweku Flick, one of Ghana's most prominent artists, to explore potential future music projects that would beautifully blend the sounds of Ghana and Zimbabwe.

Reflecting
on his musical journey to The Daily Reflections with Winnie, Pricosh revealed that his passion for music stems from
his upbringing in the church and the profound influence of his talented mother,
who herself is an exceptional singer.
"Life
was my greatest and most effective inspiration. Battling depression silently, I
turned to music as an outlet to express my emotions. This therapeutic approach
allowed me to relax and gradually fall in love with songwriting," added
Pricosh.
However, it's not just Paintsil who recognized Pricosh's remarkable talent.
After his
cover of "People" gained widespread acclaim, several other notable
artists, including Tytan, Maskiri, Ammara Brown, Passion Java, and Roki,
reached out to him, acknowledging his undeniable musical prowess.
Following
his memorable trip to Ghana, Pricosh wasted no time and immediately flew to
South Africa to shoot a music video for his upcoming song, "Chop
Chop," in collaboration with Micyunging.
This highly
anticipated release is scheduled for later this July, and fans eagerly await
the magic Pricosh and Micyunging will undoubtedly create.
As a civil engineer by profession, Pricosh manages to balance his successful music career with his academic pursuits.
